Sugar Flowers
Caroline and Michel's cake was decorated with sugar clay flowers to match flowers used throughout their ceremony and reception. Sugar clay flowers are special because they harden and become similar to glass. If stored properly they can be kept as souvenirs from the wedding. Caroline and Michel's cake was a toasted hazelnut cake with whipped cream and marscapone, frosted with Italian vanilla buttercream and wrapped in fondant.
